Urology of St. Louis (USL) recently welcomed Dr. Robert Petrossian to its team of specialized urologists, furthering a commitment to providing urological care to communities in Saint Louis and the Metro East.

Focusing in general urology, Dr. Petrossian will care for patients at the St. Elizabeth’s office in O’Fallon, Ill., and the Fairview Heights office in Fairview Heights, Ill.

“I’m looking forward to working in a place where I can build long-term relationships with my patients,” Dr. Petrossian expressed. “The setup at USL allows the doctors to focus on their areas of expertise, which I truly appreciate. My goal is always to make a positive impact on my patients, and joining a team that holds the same values feels like the perfect fit.”

Dr. Petrossian earned his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Rochester, Mich., following his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Irvine. He completed his residency in urology at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Ill., where he also met his wife, Anastasia.

“I have a genuine love for this part of the country and the people here,” Dr. Petrossian said. “I’ve always found myself drawn to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Midwest, particularly St. Louis – a city I’ve dreamt of calling home for years. I am grateful to be living out that dream in such a fantastic and welcoming environment.”

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Petrossian spends time with his wife, dog and three cats. His hobbies include building furniture, creating art, collecting antiques, foraging mushrooms and playing his electric bass guitar.
