State Representative Kevin Schmidt (R-Millstadt) will host a free shred event from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, offering a confidential shredding service for personal documents. The event will take place at Scheve Park’s Pavilion #10, 901 N. 6th Street, Mascoutah.
In an official statement, Rep. Schmidt noted that, in today’s world, safeguarding personal information is a must; this free shred event provides an invaluable opportunity for local residents to dispose of sensitive documents securely and responsibly.
Each attendee can bring up to five boxes of personal documents for confidential shredding, ensuring that their private information remains protected.
