Illinois Division of United Way hosts annual golf scramble fundraiser Sept. 7

The Illinois Division of United Way of Greater St. Louis will host its 13th annual golf scramble on Thursday, Sept. 7 at the Stonewolf Golf Club.

Proceeds from the event will be used to benefit United Way’s annual community campaign. The campaign runs from now until the end of November and money raised will be invested into helping the communities United Way serves.

  • When: Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023; registration begins at 8 a.m. and shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Bob Moser, 2023 Golf Scramble volunteer chair, shared his excitement for hosting this event once again. “United Way’s golf scramble is a very fun tradition that we all look forward to every year, people really have fun playing golf and contributing to a great cause,” said Moser. “As United Way moves into its second century of impact, the support they receive from this event will help them continue their mission to help people live their best possible lives.”

United Way’s Illinois Division helps over 41,000 people each year throughout Clinton, Monroe, Randolph, and St. Clair counties. Dozens of local health and human service organizations are supported by United Way’s Illinois Division annual fundraising campaigns.
