September 11 memorial event scheduled in Belleville: ‘Moment of Remembrance’

The September 11th Memorial Walkway Committee and the City of Belleville will again host the annual “Moment of Remembrance” Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023.

This ceremony is held on the location of the 9/11 Memorial Walkway at Fire House #4 – 1125 S. Illinois Street, Belleville, Ill. (An outdoor event, weather permitting.)

This year’s keynote speaker will be MSgt. Amos D. Reed, First Sergeant, 932 Medical Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
