Rep. Bost hosts recent discussion of safe truck parking at Mt. Vernon TA Center

U.S. Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.) hosted a get-together and conversation about safe truck parking on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Mt. Vernon Travel America Center to highlight the ongoing parking crisis for truckers and what can be done to help remedy it.
“As someone who grew up in a family trucking company, I was excited to conduct a “Take Your Congressman to Work Day” at the TA truck stop off Exit 95 in Mount Vernon. I toured the facilities, met with employees and the truckers they serve, and highlighted the need for improved access to safe truck parking nationwide. Thanks to TA, bp, and the National Association of Truck Stop Operators for joining me for a great event today!” Rep. Bost noted.
