Gov. Pritzker announces two appointments to boards, commissions

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker recently announced the following appointments in his administration:

Blue-Ribbon Commission on Transportation Infrastructure Funding and Policy

Eileen Chin will serve as a Member of the Blue-Ribbon Commission on Transportation Infrastructure Funding and Policy.* Chin has over two decades of construction, project management, operations, and communication experience. She currently serves as the President of R.M. Chin & Associates, providing consulting services for public and private entities in the aviation, buildings, and transportation sectors. Chin has also served on the Diversity Advisory Council for the Move Illinois Program where she developed equitable programs that encouraged small and diverse firms to participate in the Illinois Tollway’s $14 billion, 15-year program.

Chin is affiliated with multiple professional organizations including the Metropolitan Planning Council Board of Governors, Cook County Asian Advisory Council, and she is the Co-Chair of the Association of Asian American Construction Enterprises as well as former Board Director and Member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar. Chin was recognized in 2015 as a Business Leaders of Color by Chicago United. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois.

Employment Security Board of Review

Brittany Kimble will serve as the Chair of the Employment Security Board of Review.* Kimble has over a decade of experience owning her own law practice, The Law Offices of Brittany B. Kimble. She prepares motions and conducts hearings for complex criminal and civil litigation. Kimble also has experience as a former Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Social Security Administration. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Kimble earned a Bachelor of Science from Jackson State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law.
