Centerstone seeking nominations for inaugural Life;Story Champion Award, Ambassadors Circle members

Centerstone is seeking nominations for its inaugural Life;Story Champion Award in Illinois. From July 7 through 21, nominations will be accepted for the Life;Story Champion Award, which will go to an Illinoisan who has positively impacted mental health in their community. The winner and finalists will be announced mid-August.

All finalists and the winner will be honored at the inaugural Centerstone Life;Story 5K on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Harry L. Crisp Sports Complex on South Carbon Street in Marion, Ill. The race beings at 7:30 a.m. and the event concludes with the award ceremony. To register for the Life;Story event, click here.

“Centerstone’s Life;Story 5K not only raises funds and awareness for suicide prevention, but also highlights the need for us all to help save the lives of people who are loved – whose Life;Story matters,” said Centerstone Director of Advancement Erin Camfield.

Centerstone’s Ambassadors Circle is also seeking to recruit diverse professionals that are an equitable representation of the communities served by Centerstone.

The Ambassadors Circle was formed to help Centerstone increase diversity, equity and inclusivity amongst its board member community and plays an essential role in creating an equitable culture at all levels of the organization.
