Abbott secures agreement with The METEX Group of Germany to build, sell roll grinding machines

As announced on the company’s website and through social media outlets, Abbott Machine Company has secured a license agreement with The METEX Group GmbH of Germany. Abbott Machine Company is located at 700 W. Broadway in Alton, Ill.

President Mike St. Peters of Abbott Machine and METEX Managing Director Michael Fuchs met at the METEX production facility in the Zeitz Industrial Park. Abbott will build and sell the highly modern, new roll grinding machines designed by METEX in the USA.

The cooperation enables both companies to massively expand their activities in the United States.

All machines produced at Abbott will be equipped with Abbott Grinding Software utilizing Fanuc or Siemens Controls.
