Eckert’s Farm announces music lineup for ‘Shows in the Shed’ summer concert series

 

The Belleville farm’s Cider Shed will host a series of live musical performances this summer

Eckert’s Farm, the family farm in Belleville, Ill. (951 S Green Mt Rd, Belleville, IL 62220), announces the music lineup for its summer concert series, ‘Shows in the Shed.’ All shows will be held outdoors in Eckert’s Cider Shed with live bands performing every Friday through Sunday starting on Friday, May 19 through Sunday, October 29. There will be a mix of free and ticketed shows with food and beverage available for purchase. Top Gunz, an 80’s rock tribute band, is kicking off Shows in the Shed with a live performance this evening starting at 7 p.m.

“Shows in the Shed is just another fun way we are utilizing our new Cider Shed,” says Eckert’s President, Chris Eckert. “Our beer garden and stage is the perfect area to enjoy live music, good hard-cider, and the outdoors and this concert series allows our guests to do just that every weekend this season after spending the day picking their own produce in our fields.”

Some notable performers on the schedule include Jeremiah Johnson, The Fabulous Motown Revue, Patrick Sweany, Funky Butt Brass Band, Casey Reeves Duo, Borderline – Boot Scootin’, The Wilder Blue (Zane Williams), Miranda Bury, and more.

Guests can see the full band schedule and purchase tickets through Eckert’s website here. No outside food or drinks will be allowed in the Cider Shed area. Leashed dogs are permitted only in outdoor areas.

Located between Eckert’s Country Store and Country Restaurant, Eckert’s Cider Shed offers both indoor and outdoor space with a beer garden and lounge and a venue for concerts and private events. Inside, guests can sit at the massive bar or one of the many tables or lounge areas as they enjoy flights and drafts of Eckert’s line of hard ciders, beer, and seasonal cocktails. Outdoors offers a large beer garden with an expansive bar, picnic tables, and a full stage and sound system for live music and entertainment. A full menu of food and beverage is available both indoors and outdoors with the farm’s line of handcrafted hard cider.

The Cider Shed’s complete food menu is available during the concert series, featuring a selection of shareables, salads, power bowls and desserts. Guests can try shareables such as a Pretzel with Hard Cider Cheese Fondue, Brisket Nachos, and Street Corn Dip; seasonal salads and power bowls like the Shaved Kale and Brussels Sprouts Salad, and handhelds such as Smoked Chicken Tacos, Cider Braised Hotdog, Brisket Sandwich and more. Eckert’s Cider Shed also caters to furry friends with a menu of doggie desserts (Begging for Beef & the Cluck ‘n Moo).
