Laura E. Schrick, a shareholder at Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd., has been appointed as the Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Labor and Employment Law Section Council for 2023-2024. Additionally, she was appointed as a member of the ISBA Commercial Banking, Collections & Bankruptcy Section Council for the same period.
Schrick focuses her practice in commercial litigation, trust & estate litigation, employment law, and construction law. Since joining MMR, Schrick has achieved significant results for individuals and businesses in a variety of federal and state court matters at both the trial court and appellate court levels. Schrick values the trust that her clients place in her and works hard to provide them with personal attention and practical legal advice.
The mission of the ISBA Labor and Employment Law Section Council is to inform section members and the public of important developments in labor law, to review and comment on proposed legislation and regulations in the labor law field, to foster opportunity for informal contacts between attorneys representing labor and management, and to foster improvement in administration of federal and state labor legislation.
The mission of the ISBA Commercial Banking, Collections & Bankruptcy Section Council is to uphold professional excellence in commercial law and practice, banking law and practice, and bankruptcy law and practice.
