Litzenburg appointed as chair of ISBA Civil Practice and Procedure Section Council

Deanna L. Litzenburg, a shareholder and Vice President with Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd., has been appointed to serve as Chair of the ISBA Civil Practice and Procedure Section Council for the 2023-2024 term.

The mission of the ISBA Civil Practice and Procedure Section is to enhance the knowledge and professional capabilities of lawyers practicing civil law in all its branches, disseminate current information, promote civil law system improvement, and study relevant areas of reform.

Litzenburg focuses her practice in civil litigation, commercial litigation, premises liability, employment law, creditors’ rights, workers’ compensation and alternative dispute resolution. With over 20 years of experience, Litzenburg has been dedicated to serving a diverse range of clients, including individuals, hospitals, nursing homes, banks, small businesses, and other employers in Southern Illinois, handling various litigation needs, equal employment issues, workers’ compensation claims, and other matters.
