Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd. (MM&R) recently announced that Jacob W. Varley has joined the law firm as an associate.

Prior to joining MM&R, Varley was a judicial intern for the 22nd Circuit Court of St. Louis, as well as a legal extern for the St. Louis County Counselor’s Office. Varley graduated summa cum laude from Ken University in New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and public administration. He then went on to earn his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.

During Varley’s tenure at WashU Law, he obtained a Certificate in Business and Corporate Law and won an award for excellence in oral advocacy in connection with his participation in the first-year legal practice oral arguments.

Varley is licensed in Missouri and plans to focus his practice primarily on business law and estate planning.
