IDs required by all entering the St. Clair County Building beginning April 17
The St. Clair County Public Building Commission has announced that beginning Monday, April 17, 2023, the first floor lobby will become a security checkpoint for everyone entering the St. Clair County Building.
Employees will pass through a magnetometer and must display their St. Clair County identification card. All attorneys will be asked to present a bar card along with their driver’s license.
These checkpoints may be staffed by personnel who may not be familiar with employees, visitors, attorneys or patrons who frequent the building.
Anyone not presenting their identification will be required to pass through a magnetometer and X-ray machine and may be subject to a search of their person and/or possessions.
The current checkpoint configuration will be modified as the County progresses with planned construction.
Excellent idea, this should have an automatic from day one.
Too many crazy people out there.
That’s a direct violation of your fourth amendment right to be secure in your possessions . Your ONLY required to provide your ID if a police officer had REASONABLE ARTICULABLE SUSPICION THAT YOU HAVE COMMITTED ARE ABOUT TO COMMIT OR ARE CURRENTLY VIOLATING the law. No crime no ID . This is not nazi Illinois . And this is not a stop and ID state . I can’t wait for this to be challenged on court since there’s case law that prohibits this . Notice there’s a way around the id which is the exact way it’s been to enter the courts already haha . But it’s preparing the sheep for the new world order .
Great now require Photo ID, at the voting polls !! Photo ID ,checks are Not Racist ,are they, in the St.Clair ,Court house …
