Madison County traffic alert: US 67/Clark Bridge pavement patching set for April 12, 13

The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that lane restrictions will be encountered beginning at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 12.

Weather permitting, the northbound right lane will be closed on US 67/Clark Bridge over the Mississippi River in Alton.  All lanes will reopen by 3 p.m. Thursday, April 13.

These restrictions are needed to perform emergency bridge deck patching. IDOT District 8 Operations forces will make the needed improvements.
