Southwestern Madison County Chamber of Commerce issues reminder to area small businesses, nonprofits

The deadline to submit applications for the Ameren Illinois 2022 Non-residential Hardship Program is fast-approaching. The Southwestern Madison County Chamber of Commerce recently issued a reminder to area small businesses and nonprofits of the Sept. 30 deadline for this program.

Ameren Illinois’ 2022 Non-residential Hardship Program provides a one-time credit to small business and non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations. The organization must have an active Ameren Illinois electric account and be experiencing hardship. If eligible, this assistance will be applied to the organization’s Ameren Illinois electric account in the form of a one-time credit, up to $500.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until Sept. 30, 2022, or until funding has been depleted.

To apply, complete and sign the application and return both pages. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
