Urology of St. Louis adds Dr. Islam as provider for Fairview Heights, St. Peters

Urology of St. Louis has added St. Louis native, Urologist Majdee Islam, MD to its growing practice. Dr. Islam’s area of specialty is men’s health and he is passionate about treating erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, Peyronie’s disease and any other urologic conditions surrounding men’s health.

“Dr. Majdee Islam is a wonderful addition to our growing team at Urology of St. Louis,” said Dr. Etai Goldenberg. “We both share a passion for men’s health and I am looking forward to working alongside of Dr. Islam and providing our patients the best care possible.”

Dr. Islam completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at the University of Missouri where he was named a recipient of the prestigious Conley Scholar award, which granted him automatic acceptance into medical school out of high school. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Religious Studies.

“Urology of St. Louis is always focused on doing the right thing for patients to receive a high level of care,” said Dr. Islam. “I am so excited to join the team since this is the best fit for my interests in men’s health.”

Dr. Islam then relocated to Denver, Colo., and completed his six-year urology residency at the University of Colorado. After his residency, he attended the University of California, Los Angeles for a fellowship in male reproductive medicine and surgery.

“I am passionate about men’s health because it’s a way to improve their quality of life and provide care in an environment that’s comforting and inclusive,” said Dr. Islam. “Men usually deal with these types of issues for a long time. They often have a hard time bringing it up and even going to a doctor when they have concerns. Men’s health is a part of medicine that can often be difficult to provide, but it is very rewarding.”

Dr. Islam and his wife live in St. Louis with their one-year-old son and enjoy being active, hiking, snowboarding and are big Cardinals fans.

Dr. Islam will be primarily working at the Fairview Heights and the St. Peters locations.
