Keep Calm & Carry looks to expand safety-related services

Since its founding in 2013, the driving goal of firearms safety trainer Keep Calm & Carry has been to provide the resources and training necessary to empower Illinoisans to protect themselves and their families.

The transition from individual trainer to a company was a logical move, operator David Young said. He was already a licensed pistol instructor and dedicated educator. Since becoming a State Certified training center, Young and his team have assisted thousands of Illinoisans in obtaining their concealed carry permits.

Keep Calm & Carry is located in newly remodeled offices at 6 Eagle Center, Suite 4, and now has hopes of establishing its own gun range and adding a training simulator.

Keep Calm & Carry currently employs 12 instructors with most of the instruction offered Friday through Sunday.

Thanks to a recent partnership with the United States Concealed Carry Association, Keep Calm & Carry will expand its course offerings and schedule.

Additionally, it offers OSHA-approved classes for Active Killer Training, CPR, and First Aid.

It also offers training designed for houses of worship.
