Golf, entertainment project unveiled in Edwardsville

The first look at a planned golf and entertainment park was unveiled Friday.

A group of local and national investors have formed Park North Development, LLC to bring the project to Edwardsville. They include Scott Plocher, president of Highland-based Plocher Construction Co., Inc. and Christopher Byron, managing partner for the Edwardsville-based law firm Byron Carlson Petri & Kalb, LLC

The project will be located kust north of Edwardsville’s Plummer Family Park and will be the first of many new developments at the Park North development located at the southwest corner of Interstate 55 and Highway 143 in Edwardsville.

Called The Complex, the entertainment venue will have an upscale restaurant featuring a local chef-inspired menu, a sports bar, and an expansive outdoor patio area.

The Complex will be centered around an 18-hole putting course inspired by PGA venues and 40 climate-controlled hitting bays offering the newest in gaming/golfing technology and will welcome every level of golfer.
