Bank of Clinton County, which opened its doors in New Baden last month, has added Brad Haar to its lending team as a community banker and mortgage consultant. Haar, who has more than a decade of banking experience, has been working with the bank over the last year as a credit analyst.
“Brad agreed to join our team last year in order to assist us with the significant number of PPP loans we were managing,” said Market President Todd Juehne. “We’re excited for him to now move into his permanent role as a mortgage specialist for Bank of Clinton County. I’ve known Brad personally for many years and can speak to the expertise he will bring to our lending team.”
Haar will assist Bank of Clinton County with a variety of loans including consumer lending, commercial and agricultural loans. “I’m looking forward to getting back into more familiar territory, which is lending, however I’m also excited to introduce Bank of Clinton County’s brand of banking into the community in hopes of cultivating long-lasting banking relationships,” said Haar.
Haar is a life-long resident of New Baden, where he lives with his wife Stephanie and three boys. He is involved in the New Baden Chamber of Commerce as well as various volunteer positions within the local Catholic Church.
Bank of Clinton County is a division of Bank of Belleville, a locally owned and controlled, independent community bank located in Belleville.
Bank of Clinton County celebrated its grand opening at 1210 E. Hanover St. in New Baden in July.
