Raising Cane’s, the national chicken finger concept, will open it’s restaurant in Fairview Heights on Tuesday, Aug. 10.
The new Raising Cane’s will serve customers through its mobile app, online ordering, takeout, dine-in and the first multi-lane drive-thru in Southern Illinois. Open every day from 10 a.m. to midnight, the restaurant is the first in southern Illinois and the 16th in the state.
Located at 6565 N. Illinois St., the new restaurant will kick off its grand opening celebration with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony including Mayor Mark Kupsky and the Metro-East Regional Chamber of Commerce starting at 9 a.m. The Cardinals mascot, Fredbird, and St. Louis Blues mascot, Louie, will join the O’Fallon High School Band in pumping up the opening day crowd. Lauren ‘Lern’ Elwell from KSHE will host a live radio remote starting at 11 a.m.
Raising Cane’s will be accepting entries from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for its “Lucky 20” drawing to award 20 customers ages 13 and older with Free Cane’s for a Year. The first 100 customers ages 13 and older to dine-in will also receive a free Cane’s T-shirt.
“We’ve hired over 115 amazing Crewmembers, and we are excited and ready to start sharing our ‘One Love’ with the Fairview Heights community,” said Restaurant Leader Nicole Costello. “As the retail hub of Southern Illinois, Fairview Heights is a great spot for our new restaurant. After all, there’s nothing better than enjoying tasty chicken fingers before or after shopping.”
Raising Cane’s has already developed relationships with Scott Air Force Base and will attend the September Fall Fest. Cane’s is interested in getting more involved throughout the community, attending events and sponsoring teams/organizations.
