Midwest BankCentre names regional president-commercial banking

Chris Imming has been promoted to regional president–commercial banking at Midwest BankCentre, which has locations throughout the Bi-State area.

In his new role, Imming brings business owners and nonprofit leaders the tools and resources needed to support their growth while also serving as a reliable source for capital and financial facilitation.

“Chris Imming is a fantastic example of how Midwest BankCentre invests in our team and promotes from within,” said Danny Pogue, president of commercial, consumer and retail sales. “Since joining the bank in 2007 as a credit analyst, Chris has built great industry knowledge and long-term relationships that help our clients grow their businesses to strengthen our region.”

Imming serves as treasurer and board member of Hope Happens, which partners with the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Missouri-Columbia with dual majors in finance/banking and real estate. His MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis emphasized finance and financial management services. He also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Midwest BankCentre’s current assets exceed $2 billion and deposits total more than $1.5 billion. A mainstay of the greater St. Louis community banking scene since 1906, the bank employs a staff of about 280 working at 18 bank locations in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis, Jefferson and St. Charles counties in Missouri and St. Clair County in Illinois.
