Alberici announces long-term leadership succession strategy
St. Louis-based Alberici Corporation is announcing transitions in its executive leadership team, as part of a long-term succession planning strategy.
Effective Feb. 1, Greg Kozicz (left) will become chairman of the board of Alberici Corporation. Kozicz will support the leadership team in its day-to-day operations and continue to participate in the overall strategic direction of the corporation, as well as the oversight of the Canadian operating company, Alberici Constructors, Ltd. Kozicz has served as chief executive officer and president of Alberici since 2005. He joined the company in 2001.
Peter Kozicz will add the role of chief executive officer of Alberici Corporation. He is currently the president and CEO of Flintco, one of Alberici’s family of companies, which provides construction services to commercial and industrial clients throughout the United States. Kozicz has led Flintco, based in Tulsa, Okla., since 2013.
Richard Jaggers will add the role of president of Alberici Group to his existing duties as chief financial officer. Jaggers joined the company in 2015.
John Alberici (right), following 53 years of service, will step aside from his full-time role as chairman of the board of Alberici Corporation and will continue to serve as chairman emeritus for the corporation.
“Succession planning at Alberici has been part of our culture for decades,” said Greg Kozicz. “These transitions are a normal part of our process and will ensure our corporation continues to capitalize on new opportunities and prepares our employees for new challenges.”
