Troy area chamber of commerce to host virtual job fair
The Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce has arranged the opportunity to meet potential employers virtually.
On Jan. 26 (9 to 10:30 a.m.) and Jan. 27 (1 to 2:30 p.m.), the Chamber will host a virtual job fair. This event will feature four employers in each session who will talk about their job openings and offer links to apply for their open positions.
“The job market is tough but when you add a pandemic, it is almost impossible to find good jobs” said Dawn Mushill, executive director, Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce (shown). “We are bringing together the SIUE Center for Workforce Development, Madison County Training and Employment, Illinois WorkNET and the Chamber for this event”.
This is the second Virtual Job Fair the Chamber has hosted in the last couple of months. The first one was successful and assisted the Chamber member employers in getting the word out about their jobs.
People can register for the event at on the Chamber’s website at www.troymaryvillecoc.com. For more information, contact the Chamber office at (618) 667-8769.
