Cannabis company refreshes brand, planning second Metro East dispensary
Illinois Supply & Provisions dispensaries across the state make switch to Ascend including new Fairview Heights location in early 2021
Ascend Wellness Holdings, LLC, operator of Illinois Supply & Provisions cannabis dispensaries, is refreshing its retail brand throughout the state and preparing for a second location in Metro East.
In November, AWH received local approval to begin construction on its fourth Illinois dispensary. Ascend Fairview Heights is expected to open for adult-use in February 2021.
Customers and patients in Collinsville and Springfield can now purchase adult-use and medical grade cannabis products under AWH’s new flagship brand Ascend.
“The Ascend name is a forward-thinking elevation of the quality products and service our customers and patients have come to expect from AWH retail locations throughout the state and that will not change,” said Chris Melillo, AWH chief revenue officer.
The first Ascend dispensary opened Nov. 5 in Springfield after undergoing a top-to-bottom remodel to become the area’s first adult-use focused dispensary. Along with Collinsville, AWH’s original downtown Springfield location also made the switch to Ascend.
