West Star Aviation names avionics technical sales manager
West Star Aviation has announced Michael Sichmeller as the avionics technical sales manager at its East Alton facility at St. Louis Regional Airport.
He has more than 37 years of aviation experience, served in the Air Force and holds a master’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle.
“Michael’s vast knowledge and experience will provide valuable expertise to the West Star team and we are thankful to be able to add him to the organization,” said Steve Bates, technical sales manager in East Alton.
“I appreciate the opportunity to be able to apply my skills to a growing company such as West Star and excited to join the experienced team,” said Sichmeller.
West Star Aviation specializes in the repair and maintenance of airframes, engines and APUs, avionics installations and repair, major modifications, interior refurbishment, exterior paint, accessory services and parts. The company also provides complete FBO services for transient aircraft at its East Alton and Grand Junction, Colo., facilities and has locations in several other cities.
