HSHS Medical Group welcomes urologist

HSHS Medical Group has added James Thu, MD, urologist, to its medical team.

Thu sees patients at HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care – St. Elizabeth’s, which is located at 3 St. Elizabeth’s Blvd., Suite 5000, in O’Fallon.

This fall, Thu will also provide care at HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care – Edwardsville (1188 S. State Rt. 157, Edwardsville).

Thu specializes in disorders of the bladder, kidney and prostate. He provides medical and surgical treatment for cancers of the urinary tract, urinary stone disease, prostate gland enlargement and sexual dysfunction.

Thu earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Thu completed a urology residency at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Health System in St. Louis.
