Schnucks names longtime manager to lead store operations

Stacy Brandt has been promoted to the role of vice president of store operations at Schnuck Markets Inc. reporting to Dave Peacock, president and chief operating officer.

She will be the first female to lead operations in the 81-year history of Schnucks. Prior to her current role, she most recently served as division manager and, before that, liquor procurement manager, center store merchandiser, store manager and customer service manager.

Brandt started her career with Schnucks in 1997 as a checker at the company’s Champaign, Ill., store.

“Her ability to build rapport with teammates, to manage through crisis situations and to understand the complexities of the grocery business are tremendous assets to her and our company in this senior leadership role,” Peacock said.
