$1 million campaign announced for Ronald McDonald House Charities
McDonald’s of Metro St. Louis Co-Op, which also includes member restaurants on the Illinois side, has announced a campaign to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis.
The campaign is called the $1 Million Round-Up for RMHC Challenge.
The announcement comes on the heels of the recent successful “Sleeves for Support” fund-raiser, which raised $100,000 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis in just two weeks through the sale of large cup size, limited edition sleeves.
McDonald’s of Metro St. Louis has committed to raising $1 million by Dec. 31. Customers can help by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar when ordering through the drive-through, front counter or kiosk to donate their change to RMHC. The Co-Op has raised over $150,000 through Round-Up since the beginning of July.
Also, starting today, customers can donate to RMHC through the McDonald’s app by adding $1, $3, or $5 to their purchase when ordering via Mobile Order and Pay ensuring that no matter where and how customers choose to order and pay, they have the opportunity to support RMHC.

Since helping to open the first house in 1974, McDonald’s has continuously supported RMHC’s commitment to providing a safe and comfortable place for sick kids and their families to stay close to each other and the care and resources they need.
