Madison County to meet on reopening businesses

The Madison County Board of Health, which is made up of the full Madison County Board, will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, to discuss a proposal to begin a responsible reopening of Madison County businesses and other establishments that have been impacted by the state’s COVID-19 shutdown.

The Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce is encouraging businesses to contact Madison County Board representatives prior to the 5 p.m. meeting to share thoughts on the potential for reopening and the economic impact COVID-19 is having.
