Granite City CEO program offers taste of community fare

The community is invited to taste local restaurant fare and explore local businesses during “A Taste of 62040 Plus More,” an offering of the Granite City CEO program.

The event will be Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Granite City High School.

CEO stands for Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities, a program designed to teach business acumen to high school students.

The 62040 is a play on Granite city’s ZIP code of 62040.

A silent auction, 50/50 raffle, gift card givewaways deejay and slide show will be featured.

Tickets are adults $15;  students $10; children 6 to 12 are $7; and children 5 and under are free.
