West Star Aviation announces director of employee communications and component marketing

West Star Aviation, based in St. Louis Regional Airport in East Alton, has announced Tommi Krell has assumed leadership for marketing the component repair business units, Dallas Aeronautical Services, Flite Components and Avant Aerospace.

Avant Aerospace LLC, Dallas Aeronautical Services, LLC, and FLITE Components, LLC are wholly owned subsidiaries of West Star Aviation Holdings, LLC.

Krell will continue to maintain responsibility for corporate communication across the enterprise. She joined West Star earlier this year after spending several years as Head of Global MRO Marketing for Jet Aviation. She has extensive experience in both marketing and communications and holds a master’s degree in business administration.

Katie Johnson, vice president of human resources, said Krell will work to enhance and highlight West Star’s component companies with additional brand awareness.
