IMPACT Strategies’ senior project manager completes certification program

Mike Michael, senior project manager of Fairview Heights-based IMPACT Strategies, has completed the American Hospital Association Certified Healthcare Constructor program.

Construction of a health-care facility often takes place in close proximity to active medical offices and patient care activities. The CHC certification program provides education in carefully evaluating and managing the numerous risks inherent in these situations.

Michael met the candidate eligibility requirements and passed the comprehensive two-hour CHC exam. The exam not only required Michael to recall information related to health-care industry fundamentals, planning, design and construction, health-care facility safety, and financial stewardship, but also to analyze and apply it to various situations.
