Memorial golf tourney raises $73,000 toward pain management unit
Memorial Foundation’s Third Annual Golf Tournament raised $73,000 to purchase to purchase a C-Arm unit for Memorial’s Pain Management Center. C-Arm technology provides imaging to assist the physician with precise needle placement critical in delivering pain relief to the patient.
“Thank you to all of our sponsors and participants for making our first tournament a huge success,” said Anne Thomure, Memorial Foundation’s executive director. “It was wonderful to see so much support from the community and area businesses.”
Held on June 10, the event was at St. Clair Country Club, and winners included:
Flight A – First place: Ryan Altmansberger, Dave Miller, Craig Toberman and Shane Moskop (score 57); second place: Tim Riley, Joe Riley, Ed Bott and Garry Reuter (score 58); third place: Randy Ganim, Bryan Ganim, Kevin Meder and Randy Phillips (score 60).
Flight B – First place: Ed Lane, Chad Treacy, Chris Schroeder and David Bauer (score 66); second place: Hank Rohwedder, Todd Neighbors, Kevin Pesko and Ron Stephens (score 66); third place: Mike McManus, John Sadoff, Ed Magee and Sean McManus (score 66). Places decided using scorecard play-off.
Flight C – First place: Brandon Howard, Jack Thompson, Matt Sockoch and Jeff Gray (score 69); second place: Greg Cundiff, Matt Cundiff, Jeff Basket, Barry McClure (score 70); third place: Adam Hill, Steve Parrish, Jennifer Meyer and Becca Boyer (score 70).
Dave Miller, Perry Hartwick, Lary Eckert, Ed Lane and Randy Phillips all won prizes
In the closest to the hole contests; Jeff Peveler won the putting contest with a hole in one.
Next year’s tournament is scheduled for June 8, 2020.
