The Northwest Chamber of Commerce will hold its 7th Annual Spring Business Expo May 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Orlando’s Catering and Banquet Center, 2050 Dorsett Village, Maryland Heights, Mo.
“We have over 50 booths representing as many different businesses as the colors of a spring bouquet,” said Alex Carson, chairman of the Spring Expo.”
Admission to the Expo is free to the public. Several of the Chamber’s newest members like Allied Painting Contractors, Around the Clock Medical Alarms, Commerce Bank and Regions Bank of University City, along with service agencies like Epworth Children and Family Services, Give Kids A Smile, and Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition will be showcased.
There is also a unique offering called “Taste of the Chamber” that features the Chamber’s restaurateurs.
“We have over 10 unique Chamber Restaurants offering everything from the mouthwatering fondue of The Melting Pot, to the International Cuisine of House of India,” said Melanie Wiginton, Northwest Chamber of Commerce events director.
Others will include Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Orlando’s, Pizza World, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Syberg’s, Valenti’s Catering, Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, and an assortment of wings from the St. Louis Wing Company.
Tickets for the Taste can be secured for $10 in advance or $15 at the door by calling the Chamber Office at (314) 291-2131. The Taste will begin at 11:30 and run until 1 p.m. (or until the food runs out).
Greg Gelzinnis, new president/CEO of the Northwest Chamber, said the prides itself on being the “Chamber without Borders” and with a membership base of 650 represents 23 municipalities in Northwest St. Louis County, St. Louis, St. Charles, and Illinois.
