Korte is new president of Korte & Luitjohan

    Gregg Korte has been named the new president of Highland-based general contracting company Korte & Luitjohan, taking on an operation begun in his family 60 years ago.
    Company founder Pete Korte will continue as the CEO of the company.
    Gregg Korte began his career as a heavy equipment operator in 1978, then moved up to superintendent. After graduating from SIUE in 1989 with a BA in Business Administration, he became the company’s general manager. From 1997 until his recent promotion, he served as vice president.
    Korte & Luitjohan is a design-build, general contracting firm with experience in the commercial, industrial and infrastructure markets throughout the Metro St. Louis area and Southern and Central Illinois.
