The first Chaifetz STLaunch Pitch Competition will take place Jan. 28 in St. Louis, allowing past Arch Grants recipients to receive up to $1 million in the form of an equity investment from Chaifetz Group, the private investment and venture capital firm of entrepreneur and investor Dr. Richard A. Chaifetz.
Emily Lohse-Busch, executive director of Arch Grants, said the event will include live pitches from some of Arch Grants’ most promising past recipient companies as well as a panel discussion with Richard Chaifetz, Ross Chaifetz and other leaders from the Chaifetz Group about their strategy to support promising startups.
Arch Grants and Chaifetz Group have formed a multi-year partnership that will continue to build the momentum around St. Louis’ burgeoning start-up community, which is benefiting the entire region.
The event is free to the public. It is from 5 to 7 p.m. (doors open at 4:30) at Chaifetz Arena.
