The Illinois Department of Transportation says daytime lane restrictions will be encountered along Illinois 159/Plum Street, south of Governors’ Parkway, to accommodate the new Ironworks retail development in Edwardsville.
These lane restrictions will be in place from Nov. 6 to Dec. 31. These restrictions are required for turn lane and intersection improvements.
Restrictions may be encountered along the southbound and northbound lanes of Illinois Route 159/Plum Street.
Work is being completed by Keller Construction for the Ironworks Development.
The Ironworks project will consist of three new single-story buildings. Each will have multiple retail and restaurant tenants and outdoor amenities. Construction began on two buildings in June. The third will be developed as part of a second phase at a later date.
Sugarfire Barbecue will open in early 2019. Global Brew is relocating to Ironworks from downtown Edwardsville, and St. Louis-based Strange Donuts will also open a location there.
