Biden in East St. Louis Wednesday on Democratic campaign
Former Vice President Joe Biden will be in East St. Louis on Wednesday, in a Halloween Day campaign on behalf of numerous Southern Illinois Democrats.
Biden will headline a rally in support of gubernatorial candidate J.B. Pritzer, incumbent Treasurer Mike Frerichs, congressional candidate Brendan Kelly, and others.
The event will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Iron Workers Local 392, 2995 Kingshighway. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Other speakers are expected to participate, including lieutenant governor candidate Juliana Stratton, attorney general candidate Kwame Raoul, and incumbent congresswoman Cheri Bustos.
The session will follow a day of events, all planned in Chicago, with East St. Louis being the last announced stop.
