SIHF Healthcare receives Center of Excellence Award
SIHF Healthcare is being recognized with a Center of Excellence Award by Liberty Dental Plan.
Among those participating in the presentation in September were Illinois State Senate Majority Leader James Clayborne Jr., D-Belleville, and Majority Conference Chairperson state Rep. Jay Hoffman, D-Swansea. The award was presented at SIHF Healthcare, 7210 W. Main St., Belleville, which is located in their districts.
Liberty Dental Plan is a dental benefits company that has been providing dental services to Medicaid beneficiaries across the U.S. since 2008 and in Illinois since 2014, when the state authorized the Medicaid dental managed care program. Liberty administers dental benefits for its Illinois medical plan partners including Harmony Health Plan.
Over the past three years, Liberty has worked closely with community dentists who consistently have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to quality care and recognizes outstanding dental providers with its Center of Excellence Award.
Liberty selects Centers of Excellence through an evaluation process that includes reviews of office safety and compliance, appropriate delivery of dental services compared to regional utilization patters, high member satisfaction, access and availability of appointments, and low member grievances and complaints.
Judy Bowlby, Liberty senior manager of government programs, Hoffman and Clayborne presented the Center of Excellence Award to Larry McCulley, president and CEO, SIHF Healthcare.
McCulley stated, “I am very proud of our team for its commitment to our mission and values. I am pleased to accept this award on behalf of SIHF Healthcare and particularly our dental staff in Belleville.”
SIHF Healthcare operates a network of more than 30 health centers across 11 Illinois counties with more than 160 medical providers.
