Buchheit offers handshakes for local heroes

Buchheit of Greenville’s latest outreach program, Handshakes for Heroes, thanks the everyday heroes of our communities.

bucheitheroesDuring the week of 9/11, Buchheit team members from each division went to their local responders, shook their hands, and expressed their gratitude through a gift basket containing Buchheit gift cards or coupons, food, and supplies. Milwaukee Tools also donated Sawzall Reciprocating Saw Kits to our local Fire Departments.

Buchheit of Greenville Store Manager Steven Edwards and Assistant Store Manager Cheryl Foehner expressed their gratitude to the Greenville Fire Department, Mulberry Grove Fire Department, Greenville Police Department, Pocahontas Fire Department, and Bond County Sherriff.

“We are so pleased with how the first year of our Handshakes for Heroes promotion,” said Buchheit Enterprises, Inc. CEO Tim Buchheit. “Our responders selflessly dedicate their lives to our communities. As a community, we should all remember to thank them and support them. Our mission is simple, but we hope that others will follow suit and express their gratitude to our responders too.”
