Grafton river-paddling event open to the family

Two Rivers National Wildlife Refuge is partnering with Wilderness Inquiry in free family friendly paddling on the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers at the Grafton Public boat launch on Saturday, Sep. 29.

Attendees will experience paddling a 10-passenger canoe and see fall wonders of the rivers from a different perspective. The event starts at 8 a.m. with both long trips (four-plus miles) and short trips (30 to 45 minutes). Pre-registration is required for long trips.

The event is open to the public.
