Duckworth opens new constituent service office in Belleville
U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., will host an open house for Metro East residents today, Thursday, to celebrate the opening of her new Senate constituent service office.
Duckworth’s Belleville Office can be reached by phone at (618) 722-7070. It will provide a number of constituent services to Illinoisans and any veteran including assistance with Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits, small-business development and other issues involving federal agencies.
“Reaching as many Illinoisans as possible and addressing their concerns is one of my top priorities as Senator, and making my team available in every corner of the state will help,” Duckworth said. “My new Belleville Constituent Service Office will give more Illinois families access to a convenient and welcoming place for assistance with federal agencies and receiving the benefits they are entitled to. I look forward to meeting community members and stakeholders at the open house and learning more about what my office can do to serve the Metro East area.”
At Duckworth’s Belleville Office open house, constituents can also learn about the federal grant application process, service academy nominations and internship opportunities and have an opportunity to meet the Senator as well as members of her staff. Senator Duckworth has five offices throughout Illinois, located in Chicago, Springfield, Carbondale, Rock Island and now Belleville.
The office opens today at 11 a.m. at 23 Public Square, Suite 460 Belleville, IL 62220.
