EDWARDSVILLE – The “Get to know m.e.” campaign’s annual Night at the Ballpark will take place Friday, Sept. 21, at 7:15 p.m.

gettonowmeMore than 1,000 Metro East residents will gather in the same section, wearing the same shirt. Tickets for the St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants game cost $30 and include a Cardinals T-shirt.

“This event has become somewhat of a tradition for us,” said campaign director Carol Bartle. “Since our first Night at the Ballpark, people from all over the Metro East have been messaging me, asking when the next game will be. It’s just such a fun and affordable way to see a Cards game.”

Tickets may be purchased at the Belleville News-Democrat, located at 120 S. Illinois St. in Belleville, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There are 1,000 tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The “Get to Know m.e. – The Metro-East. I live here. I love it” campaign was created to promote the area’s communities, attractions, residents and workers.
