Highland resident earns CDI certification

p18 Peck    HIGHLAND — The Community Development Council Inc. has announced that Highland resident Lisa Peck has earned the CDI’s certification of Professional Community and Economic Developer.
    Peck becomes one of approximately 300 professionals so certified. Earning the certification requires extensive, documented practical experience and a rigorous exam.
    In her career, Peck has served as assistant city manager and director of economic development for the City of Highland, economic director for University City, Mo., and planner for Madison County government.
    Peck received Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master of Public Policy and Public Administration degrees from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Recently, she was named as a Woman of Achievement by the Highland Chapter of the Illinois Federation of Business Women.
