HSHS Medical Group building new $2 million clinic in Maryville

HSHS Medical Group is building a new, $2 million 8,200-square-foot medical facility at 2401 S. Center St., Maryville.

hshsmedicalgrouplogoConstruction began in January with the clinic scheduled to open early fall 2018.

The new building will be home to providers and staff currently caring for patients at HSHS Medical Group Family & Internal Medicine, located at 1950 Vandalia St., Collinsville. All 10 colleagues at the location will transfer to the new practice, including physician Paul Malcharek, MD, and advanced practice nurses Amanda Kilzer, MSN, FNP-C, and Holly Shirley, MSN, NP-C. An additional family medicine physician will join the practice in late summer.

The physicians and providers at HSHS Medical Group Family & Internal Medicine care for patients of all ages and offer a variety of primary care services, including minor procedures, general wellness care, well-child exams, well-woman exams and chronic illness management. The clinic offers on-site lab services and will expand to include X-ray at the new location. Same-day appointments are offered as part of the HSHS Medical Group promise of patient-first care. The clinic will continue to offer early hours two days a week. Its office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
