Beard oil shop to hold grand opening in Collinsville

Barrel Brands, also known as Barrel, Beard & Tattoo, has cut the ribbon on its location at 301 W. Main St. in Uptown Collinsville.

The ceremony is anticipation of a large public celebration on Saturday, March 3. Barrel Beard & Tattoo & Evolution Cycles will host a grand opening celebration from 4 to 10 p.m. at its new collaborative workspace.

Owner Jeremy Stanton (center in photo) said he is excited to be in his hometown community and celebrating all that is to come for Barrel Brands, which is a boutique manufacture of beard and tattoo oil.

Stanton said the product has been so popular for other uses that he has started to market it as Barrel Brands. By word-of-mouth, people use the product as a perfume, moisturizer and to diminish scars – among other uses. The manufacturing process utilizes whole ingrediencies and oils that are aged in wine or whiskey barrels.
Collinsville recently altered the zoning ordinance to allow for boutique manufacturing.
