New administrator takes reins March 5 at Memorial Hospital East
Jeff Dossett will take over as administrator of Memorial Hospital East in Shiloh, effective March 5, Memorial Hospital President Mark J. Turner has announced.
He will replace administrator Ruth Holmes, who retired in January.
Dossett comes to Memorial from Christian Hospital, where most recently, he was director of dialysis, imaging, radiation oncology and service excellence.
Dossett holds MBA, PMP and CSSBB certifications
Among his duties he had the responsibility of operationalizing the Siteman Cancer Center at Christian Hospital. Siteman is also seeking to locate a facility at the new Memorial East campus.
He also served as performance improvement and service line development engineer and performance improvement business process consultant for information systems at BJC HealthCare.
Dossett resides in Maryville with his wife Michelle, son James, and daughter Alice. The couple are expecting their third child this July.
He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Turner said.
Turner, in a letter to staff on Feb. 6, thanked Terri Halloran and Lisa Altland for serving as interim co-administrators since Holmes’ retirement.
