HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital hosting volunteer recruitment open house

O’FALLON — HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital invites anyone interested in becoming a volunteer at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital to attend an Open House on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will take place in the boardroom at the hospital at 1 St. Elizabeth’s Blvd. Pre-registration or RSVPs are not required.

Participants can park in the main lot in front of the hospital and enter into the main lobby under the large blue “Hospital” sign entrance. Staff will be available to greet and direct everyone to the boardroom.

Guests of the event will be able to learn more about volunteer opportunities available, complete volunteer applications, schedule a physical and complete additional paperwork required.

Volunteers must be at least 16 and physically capable of doing volunteer work. They must provide their own transportation, participate in appropriate orientation and training sessions and be willing to foster the hospital’s four Core Values of Respect, Care, Competence and Joy.
