Edison’s record year fueled by company events, parties

p11 Edison1    Edison’s Entertainment Complex continues to make its name as the St. Louis area’s home of “genius level fun.”
Located in Edwardsville, Edison’s features 12 lanes of boutique bowling, a two-level laser tag arena, a 65-game state-of-the-art arcade, 10 party and meeting spaces, and a full-service bar and restaurant serving inventive eats and drinks.
This year, Edison’s recognized a 15 percent growth in party and event sales fueled by more company meetings, customer and employee appreciation events, company picnics, team building and other business-related functions.
In its five-year history, Edison’s has hosted events for local businesses such as p11 Edison2TheBANK of Edwardsville, Scott Credit Union, Amazon, Ameren, World Wide Technology, Home Depot, Kohl’s and more.  Additionally, several Gateway Commerce Center residents make Edison’s their choice to meet, eat, and play including Menasha Packaging, Save-A-Lot, Synecron, and Owen’s and Minor.
“Although Edison’s continues to serve families, schools, and organizations in the area it is refreshing to know that businesses are finding their way to us as well,” noted CEO/President Matt McSparin.
After celebrating its fifth anniversary in June, Edison’s opened its all-new, two-level ancient Egyptian-themed laser tag attraction – Pharaoh’s Quest — in September. The unveiling of this $250,000 renovation kicked off Edison’s “Reinvention Weekend,” which unveiled a new menu, new specials, new website, new arcade games, and new décor in the restaurant and several party rooms.
“As an anniversary present to our guests, we wanted to do something extraordinary. Pharaoh’s Quest laser tag and these other updates are just that,” McSparin shared. “We like to keep things fresh, and we are excited to share this reinvestment in our local economy with our public.”
Each year, Edison’s generates nearly $250,000 in property, sales, and entertainment tax revenue and provides employment for over 75 full and part-time workers. Edison’s is confident that their recent upgrades will continue to attract new customers thereby increasing their contribution to the local entertainment and tourism landscapes.  Edison’s is also a civic leader with involvement through donations, sponsorships, and fundraiser programs.
