Belleville Main Street announces new events planned in 2018
The Belleville Main Street Committee of the Greater Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce is playing host to several events in downtown Belleville in 2018, many of them new.
Here are some calendar reminders:
Friday, Feb. 16 – Sparkles, Suds, & Sweets – A new event. Up to 400 participants sample sparkling champagne, beer and sweets while visiting our local retailers and restaurants. Tickets are $25 per person in advance; $30 day of event.
Saturday, March 17 – Lucky Leprechaun 5k Run/Walk – unlimited participants kick off St. Patrick’s Day Belleville events. Tickets are $25per person in advance; $30 late registration.
Saturday, March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day Block Party – St. Patrick’s Day Belleville events culminate in the Block Party that follows the Hibernian’s Parade.
Saturday, April 28 – Home Brew & Music Walk – A new event. Up to 200 participants sample Home Brewed Beers provided by individuals hoping to win the grand prize of brewing their beer at a local brewery. The public is invited to try a beverage from our local restaurants, and stroll Belleville’s Streets while listening to local Music. Tickets are $25/per person in advance; $30 day of event.
Thursday, May 10 – Spring Progressive Dinner – A new event. Up to 100 participants will visit four restaurants for four courses of a spring dinner. $25 per person
Saturday, June 16 – Craft Beer Walk. Up to 400 participants sample craft beers while visiting local retailers and restaurants. Tickets are $25 per person in advance; $30 day of event.
Thursday, Sept. 27 – Fall Progressive Dinner. A new event. Up to 100 participants will visit four restaurants for four courses of a fall dinner. $25 per person
Saturday, Nov. 3 – Art & Wine Walk. Up to 400 participants sample wine, while visiting our local retailers and restaurants and viewing local artists’ work.
